EVOLUTION FARM VETS is a 4-vet practice serving farms in Somerset, Dorset and Devon. Concentrating on good, old-fashioned service combined with cutting edge expertise, we put the needs of our farmers first. At Evolution, you are treated as an individual with indivdual problems and, therefore, solutions. Our treatment plans are always tailored to each separate farm.
What makes us different?
As the song says: "It ain't what we do, it's the way that we do it . . ." and vets vary as much any other service. We do all the same things as other farm vets in south west do - whilst trying to see things from the point of view of a very busy farmer and remembering that what is ideal is not always practicable. We offer services designed to save you time, such as a regular, free-of-charge meds delivery service right to your door, we automatically text you 4 days before delivery to ask if there is anything you need so that you don't have to remember . . . and we organise convenient pick-up points for those unexpected in-between times. A small example, yes, but indicative of our mind-set.
Our Services
We provide all the usual services provided by most farm animal vets in south west, with the addition of all SWHLI strands, DairyCo Mastitis Plan, Repeat Breeder treatments, Interherd, QMMMS, AI courses, sheep flock planning, bull fertility and more. All underwritten by the continuity of your own dedicated vet (no more frustrating pre-examination chats about last week's episode. . )
And pricing at Evolution takes some beating as well. During normal working hours, we do not make a charge for visiting you, charging instead simply for our time from wellies on to wellies off. No "hidden extras" (such as a charge for giving an injection), just a straight-forward, transparent charge for time + medication + consumables used. This gives you a little more control over the size of your bill: if you are ready and waiting, you will pay less than if you need to run out into the field and drive your animals in when you see the whites of our eyes.
